How to Use the Clone Stamp Tool
While the Brushes are really helpful tools, the Clone Stamp Tool offers more functionality than many of the other brush tools in Photoshop. It allows you to clone pixels and blend multiple areas of the image together to create unique effects and look more realistic than any other tool in Photoshop. Using a Clone Stamp is similar to using a rubber stamp, in which you are essentially stamping a duplicate of the image onto another area. When using a Clone Stamp, a pattern of points will appear on your canvas that you can use to clone any area of the image. Once you have created the pattern, you can select one or more areas to use in your new image. Here’s how to use the Clone Stamp Tool:
To Use the Clone Stamp:
Select the Clone Stamp Tool icon.
Click anywhere on your canvas to create the pattern.
Position the mouse over the area you want to copy and click.
In the Options Bar, set the number of times the pixels are added to your canvas to 3.
To apply the effect on an image, click on the Clone Stamp Tool icon again, and then select your new area of the image on which you want to apply the effect.
The Clone Stamp Tool comes with a variety of different patterns, including Leaf, Muzzle, and Portrait, and you can create your own new patterns. All you have to do is find a picture with an object you want to copy. By using a picture of a leaf or a portrait, you will be able to create a different clone pattern that you can then use to duplicate something in an image. When using the Leaf or Muzzle pattern, try highlighting small areas to create a sharp blur or soft, blurred areas.

How to Use the Brush Tool

Brushes are an easy way to use Photoshop. You can paint the image or apply a graphic element to your canvas. The Brush Tool works like an eraser in that you can erase parts of the canvas to uncover smaller elements, or you can paint on your canvas in the following ways:
